Mother of the Lamb was inspired by my own pregnancy. My husband, Austin, pointed out that artists rarely depict Mary in the stages of pregnancy, carrying the Lamb of God. Here, he captures her in a quiet moment of reflection, contemplating the sacred journey ahead as the mother of God’s own Son.
